Vocational Training for Employment and Professional Competency Certification
What is vocational training for employment?
It is the whole of educational courses with the mission of training and capacitating persons for employment and for updating their professional skills, knowledge and qualifications over the life of their career.
It is linked to the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, the Autonomous Communities, and, in our case, the Employment and Training Service of the Community of Valencia (LABORA).
What are the professional competency certifications?
An instrument that officially accredits one's professional qualifications obtained through coursework or employment. It refers to the knowledge and skills required for exercising a given occupation and is structured into professional competencies.
Currently, 668 qualifications or Professional Competency Certifications exist, classified into 5 levels, though the courses for obtaining the Professional Competency Certificate includes up to level 3, and 26 professional families in the Catalogue of the National Institute of Professional Qualifications.
